The chart gives information about the total number of minutes spent talking on the phone in the UK, split into 3 different categories.
The the line people spent the the most time on was the local line. In 1995, they talked over 70 billion minutes on that line. The minutes continued to rise by 5 billion every year until 1999. The second most used call type was national which had under 40 billion minutes in 1995, but it steadily increased until 2002. Compared to the previous two lines, mobile calls were the least frequently used, contributing just over 2 billions minutes up to 1999.
In 1999, local calls started to decline until 2002 when they returned to 70 billion minutes. However, that was the time when mobile calls took off, and made a sharp increase. This trend continued until 2002.
To sum up, when local calls started to fall, mobile calls became increasingly popular, while national and international went up very slowly from their initial state.

Hi Ecro!

Overall, not bad. One figure is wrong - 2 billions?

You went for the difficult option of describing all three lines together rather than describing them individually. This is acceptable but you have to make sure that the sentences are very well linked.

All the best,
David
