Apprpriate use of me,I and I,m

Post by neena kaukab »

Hi everyone,
Could someone please help me with proper and appropriate usage of I, me and also I,m with examples , so I can understand it better . Because I have been told that many at times I use I,m instead of I . It is hard for me to find out and correct my mistake . But I hope I can sort it out with your help.
Many thanks,
Neena

Neena, could you put up a sample of your writing? Without this, it's not clear exactly what mistakes you are making.

But basically, 'I' is subject, 'me' is object:

e.g. 'I like you', 'you like me'

However, in academic writing, it is best to avoid 1st person entirely.
