how to improve score in listening section

I gave IELTS exam previous month and unfortunately I have got 5.5 bands in the listening test . While preparing at home, I usually scored 7 to 8 bands in this module. I got this score in the exam because I was unable to concentrate on the topic fully as 3 sections out of 4 are very hard to understand because of speaking speed of the speaker(not an accent issue). Now I want to prepare for such types of test in which I face speaking seed problem so that I can improve myself in this sections.
