Sorry to hear this Allen,

No one can knows whats happening within IELTS test centres.

Many people says that they reduce our score for business purposes.

Like if you write academic, they give you band 7 in all modules, because you pay a big amount tuition fees, so they dont want you to stuck in IELTS.

Otherwise, if you write Gt, you are not going spend money on university studies, so they try to make you spend money for writing numerous times...by giving less than 7....this is what i have heard from many IELTS test takers...

this was the reason why Australia government announced that they accept only GT for immigration purposes....

purely they are begging money from us indirectly...without us they cannot survive and boost their economy....and cannot clear their debts with World bank...

well..what we can do is try hard to get 7 and once you get there ..move the case to the court..so that future candidates may not be exploited...with this monkey business.......

also, you can go to some training class at your local place....and they may check your work and may be try different way in approaching the test....good luck...i am still trying to get 7, last attempt I got all 7 except writing 6.5..this has happened twice already....

While your argument may not be completely groundless, I would not even bother to speculate on this kinda rumour.

Luck plays a role sometimes. i wish you two luck.

@Durai,
Thanks my friend, I'll follow your advice to take an online course in China with a famous teacher who is recommended by many of my friends here.

@Johnson,
Thank you too for your opinions.
Actually, I agree more with you about the "rumor". Because as far as I know, Australia accepts type A too and even TOEFL will be accepted from this November.
The only thing I would like to say is : Being a little bit nicer to other guys won't cost you anything. While giving advice to others, I prefer to say something like: "this idea is not good enough" or "this word or phrase is not used properly" or "how about put it in this way?". I would avoid using words like: “it sucks” or "You cannot get 7". Words sometimes hurt people more than swords.

Anyway, I think we are all dedicated and hardworking men. Let's do our best to make the world a better one.

For "Type A", I mean IELTS academic test.
As for the "TOEFL" issue, I heard about it several months ago. I cannot find the relevant official link for you now. I am pretty sure that it is true. However, it won't be easier than IELTS. The equivalent score for IELTS band 7 in writing is 27 in TOEFL writing. Maybe you can search it online to get more detailed information.

well , I chose to be honest. Take it or leave it. Truth hurts.

I at least admit I have got a long way to go.
