My speaking topic today (16 January Delhi, India)

part 1: work or study, Hometown, advertising, did you purchase any product seeing advertisement

part 2:Did you borrow anything from your friends or family. What was it, When did you borrow it and in what situation did you borrow it, how did it help you, what did you learn from that.

part 3:
How often you borrow something, in which situation
is it good thing to borrow apart from emergency conditions
is it okay to borrow money from neighbors
problems that occur while collecting return money from people
who had borrowed from you, how you collect money from them
sometimes it is difficult to ask somebody to collect return money

My topics: 1. Work or study, is it hard or easy and why. Have you visitors at your home, how do you prepare for visitors coming, have you ever had lots of visitors. 2. Describe place where you been and which was full of colour: where, when, why do you remember it. 3. Colours in house, does colour affect people mood, colour in commerce.

Ahhhh.... my test is tomorrow too!! So freaking scared!! I hope that I'll do so good and get a score that I really deserve!! :(

I wanted to ask something. Are ielts essay topics the same in all countries? Won't they change? And please can you write your time now and after who many hours your test starts

I don't think essay topics all over the world are same. Even IDP and British Council have different essay topics. I'm not sure what countries get the same topics. Please inspire me somebody...

If the difference in time is 5 hours is there a possibility that the topics will be different or timezones don't play a role here?

The 2 writing test are different by the time zone, but it help you because you know that the task 1 is different. For example the last test was bar graph and diagram ( you can see the post on 10 of January)

I took my speaking today, Jan 16.
First part: describe place where you live, weather,if weather has an impact on your mood.
Second part: what subject you didn't like at school, but you are interested in now. Why?
Part three: questions related to research topic.

Hey guys!
I did the test this morning in Sydney,
The writing task 2 topic was something like this : "there should be some strick controls about noise or people could just make as much noise as they want, discuss both point of view and report any relevant experience"

Task one was about sales of books in 6 different years...

Hopefully it can be usefull for someone...:-)

Thank you for sharing this!But I found out that in countries such as Sri Lanka, India, etc the essay topics will be different. Can you please tell us if listening and reading sections were difficult or not. And do you remember the answers?
