i'm confused whether u'll have the xm first or me ..... i need help with the reading ..... i know Australia would get questions 4 hours ahead of my time .....

U would be having exam first .. bt by the time u finish ur test i would me at examination center and still there would be an half an hour gap.. if you could update me about the topics asked in writing tasks it would be great...

and I am in Toronto my exam is tomorrow please, if u can tell me about writing topics I certainly will be a helpful persen in futhre.

My guess for India and related area . Reading be prepared for a lengthy reading, listening atleast 12 multiple choice questions and fast paced after 26th question. Writing bar graph is due and topic for essay maybe tech related..

Hello everyone;

I would like to share my Academic IELTS test here, taken in Brussels-Belgium, 10th and 11th of April,2015 (GMT+2)

My speaking test was on the 10th of April. The questions were as follows:

Where do you live?
Do you work? Study?
What do you like about the place?
Are there any markets or other facilities?
Do you like nature? Why?
Do you like trees?
Have you ever planted a tree before?
What sorts of trees are well-known in your country? Why?

Now the part during which I had to talk for about 2 minutes:
You want to buy something, what it would be? How long would you use it? Why would you buy it?

Then she also asked a couple of questions about the same topic; like:
What do you think about advertisement?
Had the way to buy things changed among young people with the passage of time?
Do you think time spent to buy things is important? Why?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of advertising to the consumer?

The written exams were on the next day, started with listening; although I don’t remember any answers because the time run very fast, I can, however, write some notes about the questions:

1st questions group: British accent, a couple talking about a fun activity with their kids, the zoo, camping and so on.
2nd questions group: American accent: an operator talking to an old man about a flight details – description of a map of their office in the airport – this was a bit fast.
3rd questions group: Australian accent: someone was talking about a research study about alligators.

After listening came the reading test; the answers for listening and reading were on one paper, a page for each test.
There were three” huge” paragraphs, the first one was about literature and theater ,the second was about dingoes in Australia, and the last one was about communication in science.

The writing was the last one, and my favorite fastest thing I have ever done!
Task 1: It was a line graph – spending rates on renewable researches in four countries between 1975-2000.
Task 2: Some people think that children are born to obey rules and do what their teachers ask them to, others say that a child who is overprotected would face difficulties to handle adult life, discuss both sides of this, give examples and express your own opinion.

"talk about a book you read recently
-what was it about?
-when did u read it ?
- how you came to know about it ?
- what was it about?
Explain what you liked and disliked about the book .
