Task 2 - giving a large number of toys to children- pls assess it

Some parents buy their children a large number of toys to play with.
What are the advantages and disadvantages for the child of having a large number of toys?

In this contemporary society, a numerous of mothers and fathers would like to consume a lot of toys for their offsprings as gifts. However, giving a large number of toys to adolescents has brought some positives and negatives effect on them. This essay will examine the advantages and drawbacks for the juveniles of possessing countless toys.

On the one hand, a lot of playthings have been designed as educational tools which can assist them to develop their brain development, fine motor skills and increase their sense of recognition. For instance, there is a game for teaching children about matching shape games. This makes it clear that children can gain knowledge while they are playing with them. As this shows, the benefits of having many toys far outweigh its drawbacks.

However, on the other sides, there are negative aspects for the children to own uncountable playthings. Our offsprings may distract by owning too many baubles around them and make them cannot focus on one task. Furthermore, they may have a chance to be spoiled by their parents. Therefore, they may not appreciate what they own and become more demanding. It is obvious from this that it has some undesirable consequences of having a large number of toys.

In conclusion, there are some advantages and disadvantages of letting children have too many toys. However, I felt that the disadvantages far outweigh its benefits of having numerous playthings. Also, I contend that it seems highly advisable for parents to buy some educational toys for them in some special days only rather than offering unlimited toys to them.
