Task 1

My response :

The graph and table give data regarding the use of water around the world and the consumption of water in the 2000s in Brazil and Congo.

It is clear from the graph that water was used mostly by the sector of agriculture. Between 1950 and 1980 the agriculture saw a rise at almost 1.000 km/3. however, in the 1980s water used at 500 km/3 in the industrial use, and in 2000 domestic use was at 1.000 km/3 and agriculture increased exponentially at 3.000 km/3.

Turning to water consumption of Brazil and Congo, Brazil utilized more water than Congo in the agriculture use which had 176 million. Industrial use in Congo had 100 km/2 whereas, Brazil had 26.500 km/2. However, 359 m/2 water was used in domestic use by Brazil and Congo used less than Brazil which had 8 m/2

Overall, from the graph it is clear that the vast majority of countries used more water in the agricultural purposes. As can be seen from the table that Brazil used more water than Congo but Congo had more consumption in the industrial use.

Hello!

I remember this chart, but in future please attach a copy for people to see.

Be careful with be/have. The measurements look a bit strange, because you're using a keyboard, so you might use words instead (you could do with a few more to get over 150!).

Overall, you have included the necessary information and compared it and provided an overview. Vocabulary and grammar are generally good, despite some errors and you've used a good range of connectives.

All the best,
David
