How to reschedule ielts test date

Hi Members,

I booked 10th July 2014 for my IELTS but just 2 days ago I came to know that my client is coming on 10th July. I tried a lot to get leave but my manager cancelled it because of the project dependency on me and my presence is important.
Today when I called up British Council Helpdesk to reschedule my test date, they told me to get some proof of this meeting. I can't ask my manager to give me the same.
Now I don't know how to convince IELTS people to consider my case. Either I will have to come up with some good proof/excuse or bear the loss.

If anyone has ever rescheduled his/her test date please help me.

They want it on company letter head, which is not possible.

Hi,

use "word document' to type your own company letter and give to BC, they won't cross check...becasue they are not allowed to...

of course, its a wrong activity....keep this advice as a last resort..

I have sent a copy of my manager's email to BC. Let's see if they consider my case.
