Essay topic - robotism

Post by amitsurani101 »

Some people think that robots are very important nowadays, but others are worried about the trend of robotisation. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Intro 1 - Robots, a gift from upcoming technology can be seen as the artificial agent serving humans as per their wish and its brighter side should not be blinding the detrimental effects.

Intro 2 - In this fast moving world the robots have started replacing human work and that trend is increasing these days which has its own pros and cons

To begin with, if we talk about human, he has always wished and aspired someone to serve him which is seen since ancient times. But now his aspiration is not to have servant but a slave who do not argue or combat hence he has made robots which are the machines of human shape. Those are the computer based machines which can be programmed for the particular tasks.
Initial invention was to have the machine which can walk as human but soon its innovation has started programming to move as per the programs.

Today we can see that lot of important works are carried out by robots in many sectors like vehicle factories, making electronic parts, news press and many more. Now a day it is also helpful in defense in land mine detection, bomb diffusion and other military operations in helping operations like saving hostages from terrorists.

We even find them in medicinal uses as certain critical surgeries are under robotic assist and the microscopically aided surgery or brain surgery are done with the help of robots as there is no chance of vibration of operating hand. Even certain space assignments are shaped on robots to get vital information. Robots can give best results in the repetitive jobs which need same effort every time with same result it is not tedious to machine but for human, yes!

Humans are better suited for complex, creative, adaptive tasks and do the harder thinking work. Despite having enormous benefits, robots do have drawbacks as they are very expensive to build and maintain. They can only do the programmed operation as there is no thinking process. If robot has problem then it cannot fix them as it is not programmed for that. In case of slight variations robots can make massive losses. It practically needs more space in any movement operations.

To agglomerate we can say that future has lot to explore and in coming decades we may see lot of usage of robot operations and who knows, they can also be seen doing household chores in place of maids.
