ENVIRONMENT CHANGES/GLOBAL WARMING:
¬ Today world is facing a serious threat from global warming which can lead to extinction of life.
¬ Global warming is mainly due to anthropogenic activities which create pollution.
¬ The exploitation of natural resources like forests and fossil fuel has led to imbalance in environment.
¬ Gases like carbon dioxide (CO2), CO, which are released from vehicles absorb heat of sun and increase average temperature of the place.
¬ This is known as green house effect.
¬ Extensive industrialization is the core reason to global warming as its residue pollutes air, water, land.
EFFECTS OF GLBAL WARMING:
¬ Global warming will have significant impact on the planets. Not only to environment can it become reason for extinction of life.
¬ Extensive deforestation has disturbed the environment as well as the season patterns.
¬ Raising temperature of earth will cause melting of polar ice caps increasing sea water levels.
¬ It is expect that incoming decades many coastal cities would be under water.
¬ As a serious effect of global warming we can expect more extreme weather condition in coming years.
¬ Floods and drought may become more common as we can find the increasing instances of such conditions.
SOLUTIONS:
¬ Government should initial awareness campaigns on adverse effect of global warming.
¬ Govt should celebrate environment day by planting trees as reforestation is the only solution suggested by the scientists across the globe.
¬ Govt can impose strict rules with heavy penalties for those who violate norms.
They can promote the alternative energy solutions to fossil fuels like solar energy, wind power or tidal power.
¬ Reduce; reuse and recycle should be favoured.
¬ People should reduce the use of private vehicles and use public transport to reduce air pollution.
¬ All the campaigns of government can get success only if people support and adhere to self discipline.
