Animals are very important element in our planet. However, in the modern world the perspectives of how to keep animals are varied between people. Some people feel that it is unethical to keep animals inside zoos, while other argue that putting animals in zoos is entertaining and ecologically important. This essay will analyze both side of the debate before drawing conclusion.
On the one hand, many individuals refute the idea of keeping animals in zoos. For example, in my country, zoo keepers caught Lioness from the forest and bring it to zoos. As this example shows, keeping animals inside cage is considered a immoral act, people have no wright to take away animals freedom, in addition to that, zoos are artificial environment, keeping animals in such place will have a negative ramification as animals will lose a vital life surviving skills. Thus, it is understandable why many people dislike this idea.
On the other hand, some support the idea of placing animals in zoos. For instance, in China government keeps endangered of animals in zoos to save it from extinction. Placing animals in zoos is a rewarding opportunity for scientist to study animal closely and understand its behavior and help it to breed, also zoos could be a save place for animals from a predator, furthermore, zoos would be the perfect place to spend leisure time as people will get the chance to see interesting animals from near distance. Therefore, for these reasons the benefit of putting animals inside zoos is clear.
Following the look at varying opinions of these debate, it felt that placing animals inside zoos is extremally cruel act and animals should live freely on its natural habitats, except species that are about to be extinct there is no harm on keeping them in zoos as it will do to it more good than bad.
