Population is growing in all over the world. Is it better to build new homes in already existing homes, or to build new homes in the countryside?

Increasing population is one of the major concern, contemporary world is facing. Some people believe, it is better to rebuild existing buildings, so that we can get accommodate in already populated areas, however others recoil as they feel; it is better to move into countryside. In my opinion, it is important to replace some old buildings with new one as well as to move towards the countryside to find new homes for increasing population.
To begin, with, in order to accommodate the growing population in existing location, we need to tear down the present houses and rebuilt the skyscrapers, so that everyone gets a roof over their heads. Although, it seems illogical to convert each and every house and small buildings into skyscrapers, it does have several benefits. For, instance, by settling total population in specific area, we can conserve natural beauty of countryside, as well as we can save trees which got chopped off during new construction process.
However, constructing new cities on countryside have its own advantages as well as disadvantages. By constructing planned cities little bit far from existing cities, where there is less pollution and less disturbance, serves as advantages over densely populated existing cities. Although, during construction of new homes, thousands of trees get cut-off, consequently, many wildlife animals loose their homes and would not even survive. Secondly, people needs to travel to work in cities; due to living far from existing cities, air pollution will rise because of extra usage of transportation.
Even though, both locations have their own advantages and disadvantages; it is very hard to choose particular location for upsurge population. Although instead of worrying about new accommodation; individuals and governments should try to control and reduce population, so that existing and future generation do not need to worry about such problems.
To recapitulate, we should demolish old small buildings and recreate tall skyscrapers so more people can settle there, although it is not possible to knock every building and private houses; so we have to move to countryside. But during these movement, we should take care of the nature as much as we can.

Please evaluate this essay, and please grade it.... thanks a lot in advance
