Writing Task 1 - Population in Italy and Yemen

Hello, I would be glad to have anyone look at my text :) And I'm not sure about times to use in tasks with predictions and future. I use Future Perfect when talking about specific time (for example, BY 2050) and Future Simple when there is no specific time mentioned. Is this good enough or I should...

Basically, a good report. You have included all the main points, but a couple of minor points are not mentioned, e.g. stones and reeds.
All the best,
David
I agree with this :) Thank you for your suggestion, David!

Essay - Admission charge for museums

Hello, everybody! I will be grateful for every point of view about my essay :) Many museums charge for admission while others are free. Do you think the advantages of charging people for admission to museums outweigh the disadvantages? Museums are fairly considered as the part of national history an...

Re: Task 1 - What UK graduates and postgraduates do after leaving college in 2008

Hi Polina Try to make the introduction one sentence using paraphrases of the chart titles and question. The first bar graph demonstrates what UK graduate students, who did not start full-time work, did after study in 2008. The second bar graph illustrates the same information but for postgraduates ...

Re: Task 1 - Australian household energy use & gas emissions

Hi Polina Be careful when you use 'former' and 'latter'. You have to mention at least two things before your can refer to them as former (first) and latter (last). In your introduction, just say 'first' and 'second'. Also, the emissions are caused by the energy use, not the other way round. Use 'co...

Re: Task 1 - Australian household energy use & gas emissions

Dear Polina I haven't seen the exam question or the charts, but I'm not sure that you would talk about a correlation between the charts in the introduction. If you conclude that there is a correlation, put that at the end, but from your second body paragraph, it looks like there wasn’t one. In othe...

Task 1 - Australian household energy use & gas emissions

I lot from this essay are gathered from this forum, but I still worry about mistakes or wrong meaning... :? The first pie chart represents the percentage of different types of energy use in average Australian household. The second chart demonstrates the correlation in gas emissions, caused by energ...
